Villa making 4 changes?
He was always an #8 in France, which is why it frustrated me so much that we shunted him onto a wing, whether he ends up being PL-capable or not.Bellegarde the #8/#10 we've always needed? Did wonder when he signed where his best position was and how he looked better centrally.
All that for 1 goal of output though. Still a half to go and we know how bad our defending is.
He's improved a lot under Emery, to be fair to him.Bailey always looks like a world-beater against us, so that’s annoying.
Coady disagrees with this.He was always an #8 in France, which is why it frustrated me so much that we shunted him onto a wing, whether he ends up being PL-capable or not.
If you buy a player based on their performances at a particular position, fucking play them at that position. Ain't complicated.
Different context tho wasn't it, he'd been played in his "proper" position and found wanting; it was either fill a different need or don't play at all, and at that point he wouldn't have been getting snapped up by a top-flight club, much less in the PL.Coady disagrees with this.
More arm waving than a Parisian traffic gendarme.Cunha’s really annoying me here. Walking around, waving his arms about. How about you MOVE for the ball when your teammates are looking for you?!
Standard foul because the defender has felt a slight brush of an arm against him that somehow makes his legs give way.Never a foul against Doc there. Referee is weak as piss.
It's fucking insulting; hit the fucking weights ffsNever a foul against Doc there. Referee is weak as piss.
Tbf I felt he let a lot go for us in first half. Lot of strong tackles. That was never a foul thoughNever a foul against Doc there. Referee is weak as piss.
