My least favourite Wolves player ever and I watched Alan Boswell let in six at home to Liverpool.

I saw Sunderland make Doherty’s tracking back look positively rapid. He simply couldn’t be bothered to track back in a game at Arsenal that we needed a result from. Just stood on the halfway line admiring an Arsenal break from which they scored. We lost 2-1.

I love watching videos like this but it’s also like torture given where we are now. Jota, Neves, Moutinho, Raul etc - all sublime. We’ll never have it this good again.

All true but it's not that recent.

The gap from that game to today is the same as the gap from Sebastien Bassong to 2019.

You would expect clubs to massively change personnel over that period, for good or bad (pretty obvious which way we've gone).

And as I always say, people still fucking moaned when we were good.

I so, so agree with this! The utter dirge they play is horrible, and arteta is such a fucking horrible specimen. It's the worst parts of pulis and howe combined.
