*Thanks, Deutsch.

Yeah, I like it.

They're pretty good even if the main man is a cock (not quite of Borrell proportions, but not far off)

Will Griggs on Fire and Copacabana are on my Spotify Discover Weekly. Not sure how I feel about either, really...

They keep fucking around with the algorithm for Discover Weekly, it's annoying because it was perfect about 6-7 months ago. Then I started getting 30 tracks that I'd never listened to rather than a mix of old and new stuff (at least it was vaguely stuff that I might like). Then they changed it so it was 80% tracks I listen to and some unfathomable dross that I would never listen to, nor have I ever listened to anything like that. Seems to have been a bit better for the last month or so. I want some old stuff that I've forgotten about, a handful of classics and some new stuff.

It does need a dislike button like they have on the Radio and Daily Mix. No, I do not want to listen to "Where's Me Jumper" by Sultans of Ping. It is abominably poor, I skip it every time inside two seconds, so why have you put it on my list over a dozen times in the last two years?!

I also got "Marching On Together" a couple of months ago :icon_lol: Thanks for that, I really love Leeds United.

I've noticed some repeated tracks, but the last 2 weeks seem to be back to normal again. Except Jimmy bloody Nail, obviously. Quite why they included that one is beyond me!!

Ain't No Doubt is an iconic track of the early 90s :)

Lucky you anyway, I got fucking Lindisfarne last week. Yeah, weird old beardy guys from the 70s, that's definitely my vibe.

Lindisfarne :icon_lol:

Didn't they originally write Fog On The Tyne or am I thinking of someone else?

They did. We shall not speak of Gazza's pop career.

When You're Gone - The Cranberries
Yes - Manic Street Preachers
Sway - Bic Runga
Should've Been You - Imelda May
Rubber Ring - The Smiths
Zoo Station - U2
You On My Mind - Swing Out Sister
Playing God - Paramore
Deeper Water - Deadstar
Clones - Ash

Statuesque - Sleeper
Banquet - Bloc Party
Fantastic Day - Haircut 100
Nightswimming - REM
Don't Go Back To Dalston - Razorlight
Jack Names The Planets - Ash
Rendez-Vu - Basement Jaxx
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
Saturn 5 - Inspiral Carpets
Turning Japanese - The Vapors

Had a look at my first ever go on this thread (nearly five years ago). That still holds up I reckon...

Ditto:
Finally got around to this!

Get On Out - Soul Asylum
His majesty King Raam - Lemon Jelly
Lookaway (live) - James
Hellbound Train - Cooler
Kasparovs Revenge - Lo Fidelity Allstars
Take A Bow - Muse
Open For Service - Crazy P
Do Re Me So Far So Good - Carter USM
Leave Without Runnin' _ Son of Dave
Aquafunk/Flatz (live) - Underworld

I've been listening to a lot of electronic music recently. Think it's seasonal - stuff to put on whilst reading. Listened to the 2nd One Giant Leap album and it is better than I remember!

Could this be the first thread to ever repeat itself entirely?

I spent nearly 10 years writing the exact same verdict on Dave Edwards in a game where he didn't score.

I'd say that Jack Price got pretty much identical reviews from me week by week too.

Nightswimming is probably my favourite REM song.
