Can't beat a bit of Tom Waits.
 
True dat. Although I find some of his stuff pretty tough to listen to. A bit too growly to be palatable, maybe.
 
As I've got olderI find he makes a lot more sense. I never used to get it. Small Change was the album that got me into him, especially the song Step Right Up.

The other day I put a few cd's on. Without realising, I did a series of greatest hits albums. INXS, Crowded House, then The Cult.
 
What's wrong with that? I like that album!

Horrible. I watched them about 10 years ago support Lostprophets (yep), and I'd have taken more enjoyment from punching myself in the ear over and over again.
 
I had no time for early doors BMTH, skipped seeing them at a festival in Germany some years back, but they've come a long way since then, their last album (Sempiternal) was really good and I like what I've heard so far from their new album too.
