Not sure where to go with this but anyway…

This was taken (with the guys consent/nothing confidential) in a Profs room at Corpus Christi.
Bayesian Statistics are his thing apparently although he was saying this was something about AC/DC currents (???). Now I’m content with failing most of my exams yet somehow managing not to be completely stupid, but really, how does anyone even understand this stuff??

I sense there are some pretty smart posters on here but if anyone can shed any light… stand up and take a bow.

Is there some correlation between academic people and mess? I mean unless that formula was a revelation that he had to get down straight away there is absolutely no excuse for the state of that wipeboard.

I’ve been in a few of their houses over the years and you do see some sights. They‘re often a bit weird, hoarders etc, but there are some right normal folk you’d never guess were globally recognised experts in their fields.

This professor was alright, very friendly and never talked down to you. Besides, although his room was a bit small and stuffy, he still managed to squeeze in a saxophone and a piano.

Worth cutting him some slack on the state of the whiteboard for that.
