I can't think of an instance where a team has sacked their coach mid-tournament and replaced them with someone from the outside. Similarly, bizarre attempt to 'loan' a manager, and even more for possibly only three days!

Followed Cape Verde a lot of this tournament and Bebe is such a bad footballer. His shooting is horrendous, plays like a League Two player. Weird to think he scored against Wolves!

Nigeria 1-0 against RSA in the 85th minute. RSA attacking but lose the ball in the Nigeria box, who then counter up field and score to make it 2-0. Job done and Nigeria through to the final....

... Except there's a VAR review on the challenge by the Nigeria defender to win the ball for the counter. Ref jogs over to the monitor and gives the penalty to RSA!

Scored and now 1-1 heading into extra time instead of a 2-0 win. Gutting for them.
