Look a lot of the times it’s stepped in to alter a decision against I can see it my biggest issue has been its ability to go hiding when we’ve desperately needed it. Man Utd away, Newcastle home, Sheff Utd away this season it should’ve stepped in and overturned the decision but didn’t.
Tony Scholes on TalkSPORT recently bit of a mr PGMOL, very patronising bloke basically saying it takes times and could take up to 10 years to run smoothly. Sorry that’s not good enough and just telling people to sit tight and wait is not good enough either. Also moaned about managers stating in...
Alternative motive most probable and it’s a handy deflection tactic with upcoming ST prices being announced.
Makes them look like they’ve got the fans interests at heart but only the ones who can afford to be present at games.
Chances are we’ve proposed this knowing it won’t go through with very much an intention of concentrating the minds of the PGMOL.
I think we might end up looking like Will Ferrell in old school running down the street naked expecting everyone to be behind us only to turn around and see no one.
Top end of their value basically, Gomes could be worth more next summer. RAN and Neto the money you’ll get now is probably as good as it gets.
We need to remember that the owners don’t see us as a football club just a business.
I’d argue wanting a self sustainable club of our size to maintain...
I mean it’s not a hard formula to work out, as said it’s just a case of which season in the next couple of years we go down.
The policy is unsustainable at premier league level.
I genuinely think they’ve looked at BHA and thought “why can’t we do that” simply they’ve got a clear formula for it...
I think SA, RAN, Gomes, Neto are all probably leaving, probably generates around £120-150m.
They probably look to only use about 25% of that on incoming players £30m except the quality to either be very raw and very risky.
As said knives will be out now again can’t read what Samuel is saying but he’s usually very hard hitting.
I’m sick of hearing it just needs to be better, we were told this in 2019 that it was just teething problems.
Our stance if anything should focus minds a bit better if anything.
I don’t think the club itself thinks it’ll go through at all either, but it does say fucking sort it out and improve things as it’s simply not good enough.
I genuinely think it’ll just be us and Forest who vote it out the rest won’t want to rock the boat.
Not paying for the whole thing but the first few lines you can read set the tone, basically saying we’re being archaic and the PL is forward thinking.
The PL are desperate for it to be no more than a few clubs just they can look whiners and nothing else.
If they subconsciously go down the “don’t fuck with us” attitude it’ll pretty obvious.
If we’re continually getting screwed by VAR again then we can always claim we’re being done over by a system we don’t want.
Its personal preference at the end of the day, I enjoy the chase regardless of who wins it, City winning the title is only inevitable now it wasn’t a few weeks ago Arsenal second half no show at home to Villa cost them.
Until then it was no guarantee that City would win it, they’ve been by no...
It’s not going to happen though, to many clubs will worry about the what if scenario and don’t want to fall victim to a howler that VAR would’ve helped them with.
They’ve over complicated the whole thing “clear and obvious” is far to vague to be fit for purpose plus it leaves you completely at the mercy of refs discretion.
