Having the "Wolves Wall" on one tab refreshing with the minutes, and the Molineux Monguls on the other, doesn't half make for good reading :D :D
But on a serious note, nobody can defend the following statement.
He may know of something and be speaking from a fans POV. He hinted that in a radio interview not long after Morgan announced the club was up for sale.
I highly doubt he is directly involved. Sounds all a little farfetched and something from that football soap on Skysports in the 90s for...
What I cannot bare above all is the myth that it is KJ getting the best out of the players he has at his disposal.
We have ALWAYS set up and played this way under KJ. Quality personnel and much more flair than the opposition in League One really did mask over the fact that in general our style...
Sir Jack (I know he is neither, but surely you understand)
Dougan
Knowles
Bull
In recent years, at a push perhaps Keane, Fletcher, Jarvis and Sako in terms of ability. They are not in the same sentence as the men above though.
Of course I am. I am fortunate enough to have the time and money to say yes so easily dont get me wrong - but I have been going far too long now to knock it on the head. Yes it is bad but I have been through much, much worse and stayed. It is a way of life and yes I guess I am letting Wolves use...
This is not such a shock for me. I said it at the time, our general "tactics" were like this in League One. Only difference being we had the personnel to make it look like we play the football that KJ tries to paint a picture of. To a certain extent it was the same last season. Ipswich at home...
I accept we are not in the same league as Boro, Derby, Sheff wed etc - but we are not Rotherham. ALF and Mason just as two examples both came here having been earning a reported 15k and 10k at Cardiff - do you think they took a cut in pay to come here?
We do have a policy on wages, that is well...
I don't buy that when KJ has been allowed to spend around £7m on Byrne, Coady & Mason in the space of 2 windows. That makes me much more disappointed than the current inactivity, especially when all of the blame is shifted towards the board by default.
I doubt even he is wrong at this stage.
I would have been happy with Kike, but after that I can only imagine we would have been going for anyone just to appease supporters.
Mason, ALF, Sig, RVLP. It really is not as bad as some would make out - any striker signing would not have made THAT much...
I dont think he will win any more than 3 world championships, for me. He is just not ruthless enough in set play where it matters most.
Fantastic player to watch, exhibition stuff at times - but he will never go down as one of "greats"
Exactly this. You don't play the percentages against a player like MVG. Not the 80s anymore. I am not a big fan of MVG, I think there is too much hype - but I loved him exploiting that creepy man. Took all the little mind games & tricks and still managed to stay in it - and in the end "Taylored"...
I think Kike would be a really good signing, actually. For those suggesting it is a signal of our ambition/intentions.. well Boro only seemed prepared to let him go if an £11m signing comes off, bit of a reality check perhaps?
I was impressed with him last season and he scored in very important...
I am not going to be negative anymore about him, welcome Joe and I am fully behind you. I really, really hope you give us that boost and spark we so badly need. Looking forward to tuesday now.
I would be really pleased if we went in for Kemar Roofe. Although he is kind of a "number 10" but according to KJ than type of player is everyone! He signed Leon Clarke with every intention of him playing that role which smacks of delusional.
It comes across as good PR given the club must be aware of relationship between club-fans. Relax though a bit, it is just something I am throwing out there as to the hold up.
