Same! Really looking forward to it.

The Official FIFA World Cup 2022 Megathread

Their line up is such an odd one - I swear every tournament (bar the one they fluked) we talk about how weird their manager is.

I’m not sure I’ve seen Guedes sprint once yet…

    Summer 2022 Transfer Window

To be fair, Dijku looked very good when I saw him the other day, probably the best player on the pitch - but it's a very small sample size, and Ligue 1 is what it is!

    Welcome to Wolves Sasa Kalajdzic

If hoofing was our main priority, we should have just paid the similar fee that Strasbourg were after for Ludovic Ajorque, having seen first hand of his ability of having that last weekend. Though, that does depend on having the players who are good crossers of the ball (and if you're the...

    If Not Lage, Then Who?

Was at Strasbourg last weekend watching their game against Reims. Played a fairly fluid 3-5-2 in that game, was very odd. In complete control and let them back in due to some very rogue substitutions (including the wing backs swapping sides!). Very impressive first half where they could have...

Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

I think this is exactly where I am - but I think that is broadly due to the fact that I actually know very little about Tugendhat!

    Wolves Kit Thread

I must admit, this made me giggle haha. That's a blast from the (fairly recent) past!

    The Football News Thread 2022/23

Good stuff Alan! I see what you meant about Fuchs in the other thread - well off the pace for that first goal wasn't he!

The Race For The Top Four

Exactly this! Obviously the better the tournament, the better for us. But I certainly wouldn't turn down the Conference League, absolutely loved the few away trips I got to make to europe following Wolves - it feels so weird to miss something that we only had for one season!

The Race For The Top Four

With the Conference League, can someone mention about what spots should mean what tournament? I know it's also dependent on who wins the FA cup, but presuming it's someone like City, Chelsea, Liverpool, where does the Europa League vs. Conference League fit? Not that it matters at all if we...

    Wolves 0-1 Arsenal: Verdict Thread

He’s literally the only player that ever looks like doing anything offensively at the moment. Right or wrong decision, no one else is brave enough to do anything.

    Summer 2021 transfer window

To be fair, they have to. Squad was very much in need of a refresh. They've released so many players. Hired Vieira - that I'm not convinced by, and Eze will be out for a very long time. They'll need a bit more otherwise I think they'll struggle.

    Euro 2020

Interesting, and makes sense I guess. Though in a sense you're only aiding development to a point where you're still massively hampered by the actual manager. Though, I would have openly said the exact same thing upon hiring Southgate mind you!

    Euro 2020

Madness! So many bad managers in international football, proving themselves as such, and getting to carry on. I wonder why that is?

    Euro 2020

Massively agree with this. Santos is terrible. Or at least, has always appeared so to me. It seems as if every game he makes substitutions that just don’t make sense given the context of the game. Think he’s been massively let off over time due to simply having a talented squad. When Nuno left...

    Euro 2020

They also left Coady out in favour of White because "England will need a CB capable of playing in a back three incase Maguire isn't fully fit"...what planet are they on - of all the arguments to make.

    Tottenham 2-0 Wolves: Verdict, 16/05/21

Agreeing with basically everyone here - certainly wasn't encouraged by the performance today. One thing I am massively annoyed about though, is the learning of the Podence surgery. Everyone on this forum knew there was something up with him. It's clear that we were going to be stuck in...
