Yeah I am firmly in the camp where I don't think the club are actually considering his position. Or they will only start if we get drilled again here, which is far too late.
For 2024 we are played 32, W7, D6, L19 with 40 for and 70 against from what I have just worked out. With little redeeming...
Any chance that image could have a spoiler or warning? Deliberately avoided it elsewhere for personal reasons but then we have it posted without warning. Really pleased to hear the update at least as sounded very grim this morning.
Yeah and moving it into a financial year where they were fully expecting full Prem money. There is no way they would risk the Larsen fee with an idea they felt they could be relegated. Imagine if we go down and then have to foot the £25 million for him. Regardless of how decent he has looked...
There is no way they intended to spend that much on players for the championship. Being relegated would see a whole new lower spending floor presumably. Also the Larsen deal being loan to buy. They fully presumed to be in the Prem next year.
Mondays result could be a 5-0 win and it would change nothing for me in terms of how I view his suitability going forward.
On the same wavelength I see nothing positive for why we are keeping him going forward if they are planning a change. I don't want him helping or prepping any fixtures...
Dawson has hit that age cliff it seems, part of that could be being rushed back too early but then even that is on the management. Given his injury last year it was unfair to expect over 30 games from him this season. This is again them not having or understanding the data for injuries and...
Really poor from Sa but the issue is I never want to see Johnstone back in goal, terrible all over that we have done that at the keeper position. This is so chaotic and disorganised at the back. Even if they go on to win this I don't know how you can watch this as part of our hierarchy and think...
This sadly isn't that uncommon though and nothing to do with them not having money. Several others were using that exact firm. Teams will sometimes do it against transfers being paid in installments too. It's insane if you think about it. Like a payday loan for the apparent richest leagues teams.
People can talk about the owners and issues and that impact on candidates, but for me the Wolves job is still attractive. A CB and a GK and more structured coaching and plan and this side would pull away from the bottom enough to not be in a dog fight at all is still my feeling.
The issue is they could have spent the money on a project or development keeper to get ready to actually replace Sa. Not someone that all the metrics and previous evidence indicated was actually not good enough.
If I had better knowledge of who they had spoken too and if someone like Potter and his staff were sounded out, I would still change yes.
None Wolves fans all talking to me today about how amazing Cunha is and the goals and how we are surely too good to even be where we are, well those players...
Was busy working away on house issues yesterday and other than being informed we were losing 1-0 at one stage, had little idea we had won; let alone how it had happened.
Some fantastic goals in there.
Have we actually been for sale though? I don't feel like we had due to the amount of linked use of the brand and the Esports stuff they have done and continued to do.
