    Wolves 2-4 Bournemouth: Verdict Thread

Can you imagine any other PL manager starting a central midfielder at CB, with his best two natural CB’s sitting on the bench? Me neither.

    O'Neil aka GONe

Nine times out of ten, a central defender is only brought on as a sub because of injury. Not a tactical reshuffle. If its tactics, it’s nearly always because the manager picked the wrong team to begin with. Which the whole world could see……apart from that idiot O’Neil. It’s the total...

I can see Gary playing Lemina in a Coady-like role, in the middle of Dawson and Santi, tomorrow. I reckon he’ll do anything to get Andre, Joao and Mario in the same side - last weeks performance might just be his way of justifying it.

Well, he hasn’t thrown any in for a couple of games which is an improvement in itself….. Progress, not perfection.

Don’t mind admitting that I got this embarrassingly wrong. What a total waste of fucking money.

Got to say, that’s an ugly team on paper.

    O'Neil aka GONe

Agree with all this. As ever with Wolves, it’s not always so much about who we get rid of……..it’s our complete inability to replace them adequately.

    Fulham 1-4 Wolves: Verdict Thread

I think it’s worth a mention. One of my big moans with Cunha has always been that - although we can all obviously see the talent - it’s been debatable about where he’s actually playing, what’s he actually doing….. Up until recently we’ve seen him playing where he wants - often when he wants -...

Still maintain that Silva isn’t even a footballer and that it’s all some massive scam. There were fat blokes in my school team that were miles better than him. Faster, too.

    Top 20 Wolves Goals: 2000s (1999/00-2008/09)

I once saw Robbie Dennison beat Neville Southall from about 30 yards at Wembley. All be it I was young and so probably remember it better than it was. No doubt it makes my top ten, though.

So, I’m reading that the mighty Barcelona are looking at Hugo Bueno. The same Hugo Bueno that can’t even get on a bench that contains preferred fullback, Matt Doherty.

    Wolves 2-0 Southampton: Verdict Thread

He’s either had his head turned by the “interest” from Liverpool et al, or he thinks he’s better than he actually is. Good player, flashes of brilliance but doesn’t do enough over 90 minutes for me - certainly not to warrant top four interest, anyway.

Bellegarde went to the same football school as Fabio Silva and Jesus Vallejo.

    Southampton (H) 9/11: Build-Up & Match Thread

Totally agree. This back three stuff shows me we are less threatening offensively and still concede three goals a game. Makes no sense. If we play like this against any other side we lose. We simply can’t rely on scoring random goals on the break without any shape, plan, or formation. If we...

    Southampton (H) 9/11: Build-Up & Match Thread

We’re playing like one goal might be enough. We concede 2.7 goals per game. We’re gonna need three.
