Ipswich (H) 14/12: Build Up & Match Thread

Not sure what else to say, as PPG go were surely going to be close to the worst Wolves side ever in a single season. This season is catastrophic attempt by everyone at the club. Lose today and I make it just 3 wins at home all year in the league unless we beat Man Utd. 2 of them against now...

Even if we salvaged today we’re still gonners in this league

0-1 there’s still hope, 0-2 and the games running away from you and the crowd will turn massively

None of them take responsibility and they wilt under any pressure again it’s another big fat mark against Hobbs and his recruitment.

Under this ownership a current prospects are: Come 16-17th in the PL or become a yo-yo club or and probably the most likely a nothing championship club that comes between 10th-18th every season never threatens the play-offs, never has a cup run and one you barely notice exists.

    The January 2025 Transfer Thread

It’ll be toxic tomorrow even if it’s a draw, looking at social media the anger is drifting from GON to Fosun but fully expect it to shift between the 2 as things progress in game. I’m glad I’m not there as toxic crowds often mean people getting angry about simple things.

The Road to World Cup 2026 and UEFA Nations League

I’m thinking no travelling fans at either. Scotland have draw in that it’s likely they’ll get Denmark so that’s a kind draw but unfortunate as Greece may pose a problem for them coming second.

We’re terrible so people laughing at our demise is expected and there’s not much we can argue back with.

    The January 2025 Transfer Thread

PSR is a convenient fall back excuse, to win the PL you need bank rolling to survive in it you need to be run properly. Example being Fulham & Brentford, smaller everything than us but run properly.

Yep the players get on which fine but there should be a degree of separation from coaching staff. Not in a bad way though, are they giving each other some uncomfortable truths? If you’re in a team that’s failing I’d like to think there’s a bit of edge there. Players not getting on but being...

Matt Doherty comments post West Ham tend to point to things being very nice and relaxed at Compton. Problem with that is you turn the training ground into a haven and create a certain amount of dread towards match day. You often hear players or ex players of successful clubs say they hated...

And some fans use to moan at Adama, Moutinho, Saiss and Coady.

Your last sentence is the ultimate problem expecting Shi and Hobbs to manage a relegation well is a major issue.
