    Cost of Living

Thanks @Tredman I've just watched Martin Lewis on ITV wouldn't have done otherwise, he layed it all out well. I would have just fixed it for 2 years had I not asked the question on here and then seen that.

    Cost of Living

Totally agree mate, it doesn't make sense to me to have things like utilities, rail, post privatised. I'm no socialist either but it's just common sense to me. They are essential services that the country can't allow to go bust like a normal company would if it was shit/unprofitable. Whenever...

    Cost of Living

There are quite a few energy providers here. As Tredman said it looks like we must have been on a good deal which is the reason it's going up so much for us now. My energy provider hasn't gone under due to the wholesale increases yet though. I work in the public sector and there is a scheme...

    Cost of Living

Can anyone help me with a question I've got re energy costs. Our fixed period is due to end in April, and we've been quoted 250 quid a month, which as far I can tell is the cheapest we'll be able to get it. It's been about 120 a month for the last few years. We live in an average 3 bed semi...

Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Funny how everyone who actually knows Johnson calls him Alex, the people who don't but think he's their mate call him Boris, or Bozza. It's a stage name.

Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Tugendhat yes. Elwood seems to want to go to war with Russia, was on Radio 4 yesterday saying we need to be Churchillian in the way we deal with Russia and send troops into Ukraine itself, that's fucking insane, I don't much fancy WW3 thanks.

Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

It's not like there's a stellar cast of candidates to replace him either. The reason we've ended up with him at all is the absolute dearth of electable candidates in the Tory party. He'd have been gone ages ago if that wasn't the case.

    The Manager Sacked/Hired Thread 2022/23

Short term bounce due to the feel good factor of the name followed by slide towards mediocrity as he blames any collective failure on the shortcomings of his players rather than take responsibility himself.

    January 2022 Transfer Thread

So are you two saying there is some way, that only you two are aware of, that would enable Wolves to sign top 6 quality players on mid table wages? Let's say we sell a player for £80 million and sign 2 for £40 million, would you not say the squad would stronger, if it money was spent wisely?

    January 2022 Transfer Thread

We've hit a bit of a wall in terms of the profile of player we can get to improve the first team. That calibre of player will naturally want to sign for a bigger club than Wolves. One way to get around that would be to pay over the odds in wages, but I'm glad we're not doing that. The approach...

    January 2022 Transfer Thread

One thing I think the recruitment team has done well over the last few years is build a group of really good characters. Doesn't seem to be any obvious dickheads in the squad. Takes some doing when your talking about young lads who are millionaires.

Alot of room for improvement for our young players as well, hopefully. Fabio, RAN, Kilman, Neves, Toti, Trincao, Hoever, Chiquinho, Cundle, Mosquera and Neto could all improve significantly.

Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

It's about as damning as it could be considering it's just the 4 parties that are in scope and she can't say explicitly that he's broken the rules. This is the key line, imo However, as I have noted, a number of these gatherings should not have been allowed to take place or to develop in the...

Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

This whole thing is really making my blood boil, even more so than whether the parties actually took place. How Dick is still in a job is beyond me, totally and utterly fucking useless.

As Johnny said, it has to go through a very strict process before it can be carried out - it's covered under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers act. They take all sorts into account, for example if the recording is likely to pick up people not under suspicion it might get rejected as that...

She can do what she wants as far as I'm concerned. Fuck him. Keep it private and go to the police and you'd have the world speculating and probably trying to destroy he character ahead of any trial. The way our culture is will find anyway to blame the woman somehow.
