Oddly....I like appointments like Beale. Shows actual moxey (scuse the obvious) instead of same old Mendes men.
Could be a disaster - and I'd much rather have Nuno back - but I'd be happy enough with a gamble on an impressive figure like this.
Lack of experience is my main problem because we...
Well Forest were utterly terrible
We were slightly better. 1-0 or 1-1 would have both been fair. SO delighted that we won but we are not playing well.
But...I don't care tonight
Exactly!
My sign of whether or not someone has 4 brain cells to rub together is whether or not they believe Liverpool ripped us off over Jota because it was only £4 million up front...
Everything is more fun with a nemesis. William Jose invigorated me for 6 months like no previous Wolves player has. Being able to hurl insults at his lumbering form last season was the main joy I had watching us!
Can't believe how Mir has managed to resurrect his career so well.
It's a shame that he only has 12 months left as this effectively forces us into a selling position. Can't keep him, unfortunately, when he could leave for free in 12 months.
Fair play to him for turning it all round
Fair point. From what I saw, he carried the ball surprisingly well, passed well and always seemed to be in the right place.
He was playing alongside someone like Livermore though, so I would probably have looked alright!
I really rate Yokuslu. For that price, he will be a very astute signing for someone. I hope it's us.
Defensive midfielders are rarely exciting signings, but he's a good one.
In terms of relegated midfielders, I also think we could do a lot worse than Berge and/or Anguissa
Well said.
Obvious I'd love us to be the next man city, but Wolves - at least spiritually in my eyes - are a Championship club that have spent a lot of money and are now doing well in the PL. I'm happy it we continue to look like we belong in the PL.
I felt we were better against Stoke than Coventry, despite the score.
What really stood out was how effortlessly we kept the ball and actually probed from non counter attacking scenarios.
The Neves/Jimenez goals were actually worked brilliantly. They were totally different to the type of goals...
Just back from the match.
Good experience. Wolves fans in good voice and a strong performance.
Fabio worried me, as did our defending from corners.
We completely dominated the game.
Today will be a really tough one - it always is when it's a championship side's last game of the pre season.
I wonder if it will be first team today, U-23s tomorrow, or a mix and match affair
