Very much agreed. Why are we transitioning so slowly? It must be tactical. It's almost as though the players believe the opposition are set up defensively (when they are not) and as such have to be patient. It makes zero sense.

To be fair, you'd be asking a lot to get a foul there. Once a player has blatantly lost possession by his own inability then an accidental clash after is rarely given.

We've done ok but Spurs were totally in control. Hopefully we can find some possession in the 2nd half and maybe open them up a bit.

I know Spurs are pretty much a class above us but our midfield was totally bypassed in that first half. It was non-existent, offensively or defensively.

Mitrovic had and created chances too. I'm not shouting Raul down here, I think he did OK, as did Mitrovic. I'd prefer Raul but by no means do I think he's a better player. He suits our system more but make no mistake about it, Mitrovic can be a very effective forward.

Raul didn't fare much better in a team with a shed load of possession.
