    Live Match Discussion 2025/26

I'm not convinced Tierney's doesn't go in off Hjulmand's face... Who cares though. Great win. And of course it's better having Scotland there than some dross like Slovakia or whoever.

    Wolves Internationals

No World Cup for Tolu, Nigeria lost on penalties yesterday to DR Congo.

    January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

He was also shite for West Ham and Ipswich. In fact he's basically only ever played well under Bielsa, Leeds fans wanted him gone in his younger days.

McNeil is at least recognisably a winger (albeit a one dimensional one), we don't actually have any Phillips can do one, never liked him, not even what we need either

His contract expired at the end of 95/96, so that bit isn't right

    January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

A side note but worth considering that Palace have lost Zaha, Olise and Eze in recent years and are still a very good team. That's having proper recruitment rather than our Better Call Jorge strategy.

Keith fucking Curle. Would stroll into this team. Loved that guy. In fact him, Pollet, and Muscat and Naylor either side of them. That's miles better than what we have now.

Rob Edwards - the prodigal son returns

Guedes was an absolute disgrace of a footballer. I'd play current day Tim Steele over him.

    January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

I don't think so, not a lot of business happens in January anyway, we don't even own one of our few good players in Krejci to sell, no-one will give us our money back on Tolu as we've managed to waste months not picking him, they won't lose face on JSL so soon and no-one would particularly want...

Rob Edwards - the prodigal son returns

I think he won MOTM on his debut (in a truly awful game). He was miles off the quality required as a Premier League team and a baffling signing (why even bother) but definitely not a terrible debut.

He was alright when he came on at Spurs. That's about it though. That fucking brainfade against Brighton, FFS. It's going out you clown, leave it.

Rob Edwards - the prodigal son returns

Yeah, that was his only game. I wasn't there though. Emi Martinez vs QPR would be a shout but I don't think it was actually his debut, he played a game before that.

How about Simon Coleman at Oxford. Looked like a pensioner who had never played football before!

All but mathematically certain now that Stale Solbakken will be managing at the World Cup next year.

Rob Edwards - the prodigal son returns

I'm not sure he's even that quick! It looks to me like one of those weird stats where someone like Ashley Williams (maybe not him, but similar) came top of the speed charts in the PL one year, clearly he wasn't the fastest player in the league. He looks appreciably slower than 32 year old Nelson...
