Hi Alan,
Can you tell me or is there an actual definition of a city in the US?
Here you'd have a hamlet (a very few houses or cottages)
then a village
then a town
large town
then a City. (A city is only a city if it has a cathedral!)
I've been reading stuff and it seems that anything bigger than a 'large village' gets called a city.
Is there a rule for this?
