Welcome to Wolves Vitor Pereira

Big reason we had such a great experience between 2017-2020 was down to Nuno the quality bought in and a big part was the dressing room leadership Coady bought to club.
Can you imagine the antics by Lemina at West Ham or Cunha v Ipswich happening with him here?
Got his England caps with us which was great to see.
Still hurts him he missed the opportunity to walk us out at a cup final at Wembley.
To add he’s the standard I’ll probably measure every forthcoming club captain against. I’ll probably be boring in 25 years saying “he’s not even close to Coady standard”
Our best captain since Mike Bailey (50 odd years ago) - that's how much I rate him.

It's lovely and all that but he should probably knock it on the head after this season. We're bound to go on a bad run and doing it after your first win in seven will hit a lot differently.

"Fucking hell lighten up FFS Are we really saying that the man can't go to the pub for a pint after work?"

It looks good fun for 2 mins but then you have to constantly stand there smiling while people keep singing incoherent songs that you've got no idea what they're saying probably. All while you've got a pint sitting there waiting to be drunk.

Well I'm not suggesting we chain him to a radiator at full time. I'm saying that stopping it while you're doing well will be a lot better optically than when you're struggling. It'll prevent all sorts of accusations of cowardice etc.

Yeah, I agree it needs looking at after this season. Not saying he should be knocking it on the head Completely but maybe do it once in a blue moon (under water).

I agree, and maybe the end of this season will be a natural break to it, but I think a lot of the fans need this unifying time.

Rather see Vitor loving life than a miserable cunt like Potter or Ange muttering and moaning
Imagine Ange or Potter popping down their respective team's locals at the moment, it'd be carnage :ROFLMAO:

The man can do whatever he wants when he's not at the training ground or the stadium. If he wants to spend his free time meeting fans in pubs that's entirely his choice. Mourinho spent his entire time at United in a hotel room, a stranger in the city he was supposed to be representing. I prefer this.

Met Paddy as well

I hope he at least visited the local service station to keep things semi social

From what he (Vitor) has said he needs the energy of the fans to feed off to give him that mental stimulus.

He has only just come here, only got his coaching staff for company, not too sure of his living arrangements? Maybe hotel or rented accommodation? So this is his way of getting that "fix" as he sees it.

I guess we'll see if it carries on longer term? But he may not feel the need if he becomes more settled here?

Edit: what Lycan said using fewer words!

Luckily he gets to dodge the pub after our defeat on Friday as they will be closed by the time he gets back to Wolvo

I went for a pint with @Deutsch Wolf after the game on Saturday. The first 3 pubs we tried we could barely get in the door and when we finally got in somewhere it was still a 10+ min wait to get served. A little inconvenient obviously but the city was absolutely bouncing after what was really a dead rubber end of season game. It hasn't been like this since before Covid.

This is a good thing.

Pessimist. All those predictions of defeat all season long, I was expecting you to go for a 4-1 Wolves win this week, you contrarian bugger.
