Not long now till Jackett names an unchanged side.. How delightfully tin pot. Will he surprise us with anything. STAY TUNED FOLKS...

Can't wait.

i shall again be severing the internet connection till the final whistle - i've lost all my masochistic tendencies !

Kortney Hause must surely be in for one of the centre backs (take your pick, they're both shite).

Only other change I could see happening is Byrne in for Rowe. Byrne was pretty anonymous when he came on vs Huddersfield but Tommy Rowe was downright appalling.

Brentford are a similar style to how Wagner has Huddersfield playing on the face of it. Smaller side who like to pass it around without really getting anywhere and rely on slight, nippy attacking midfielders to create chances (Patterson/Bunn/Lolley & Judge/Woods/Swift) so our approach to the game will be the same. Sit off them, try to get Saville & Coady to 'disrupt' (read 'kick fuck out of') their ball players and try to score from a counter attack or set piece.

Brentford fans have complained about their team being too small and of being bullied out of games so this is one where I feel we could actually get some joy.

Prediction: Brentford 1 Wolves 1 (Mason 37, RED CARD Coady 68, Judge 86).

Wolves are overdue a win, so hopefully winning ways will be restored this evening.

Bloody hell Frank. That's positively suicidal by your optimistic standards.

TEAM | Ikeme; Doherty, Batth (c), Ebanks-Landell, Hause; Coady, McDonald, van La Parra, Byrne; Mason, Sigurdarson

SUBS | Martinez, Iorfa, Rowe, Price, Saville, Hunte, Le Fondre

Byrne and McDonald in, Hause at left back. That's actually slightly better

Oh don't get me wrong I am as optimistic as ever. Negativity is not for me, but some mistake my optimism as something else, so I must tone things down a bit

That midfield is so powderpuff. Similar to Fulham's 4-4-2 at Molineux a few weeks back. Very surprised. Hopefully we can be a bit more expansive and entertain the hardy few who've made the trip to Brentford tonight.

Doherty to Rb in place of Iorfa

Hause in but fucking hell he needs to be in for one of those shitehawk centre-backs, not for bloody Iorfa, no matter how much he needs a break. Doherty still in the line-up as well.

At least it seems to be 4-4-2 so that is a start.

Put Price in for Coady and Martinez in for Ikeme and that might well be the strongest side we can put out at the moment. (Iorfa needs a rest by all accounts so I can cope with Doherty there for a game or two as long as it's only temporary...)

That's not too bad. Hause in at LB is what I wanted. Price in for Coady would have been the other but at least Byrne is also getting another game.

I wanted Martinez in, but that's what I'd have picked with those available, despite me wishing the worst on the Dutch fraud
(No not lvg!)

Hunter on the bench, good lad

Well done to Hunte, he's very talented and still young too.

Team isn't too bad, it signifies a bit more attacking intent but if we play the same way we have done for the ages then it will be in vain. I'm not confident, even if Brentford aren't in great form themselves.

Hopefully an improved performance and three points!

Is that the actual team?
