British Legion defending (Manchester Wednesday League) lets Vydra in but he fluffs it and McEndry (??) smashes it past Ikeme and with all the goal to aim at, the ball unerringly finds Batth standing in actres of isolation and is cleared!
Then moments later as Wolves defenders try to swallow all that adrenaline, McEndry (??) again pounces on a loose ball to the left side of the box about 15 yards out and smashes past everyone including Ikeme but he was forced to hit it with the outside of his foot and so the ball curves wickedly past the post by about 1".
Free kick to Wolves just on the edge of the box a few yards off the goal line and Graham whips in the ball and that deadliest of centre forwards Henry, rises like a turkey to head the ball into the centre of the goal about 8' above the ground and about 3 foot over their keeper who was falling backwards.
If the silly twat had stodd still it would have been about a foot abiove his head and an easy catch.
Afobe denied a penalty.
Slo mo shows that the defender made no contact with the ball but did hit Afobe's foot causing to lose balance and fall as he ran in on goal.
Absolute stonewall penalty.
Then seconds later Afobe clear on goal fires to the keepers right, it goes past him but hits the post, rebounding into the stunned keeper's arms.
Another laughable bit of comedy defending from EEL...
Running with the ball with a Reading player following him, about 6 yards from the corner flag, he decides to kick it far into touch. Not nudge it out, but lash it high into the stand.
So hard did he want to kick it, he sliced it off the outside of his boot and lashed it out for a corner when he was under no pressure whatsoever.
Funnier than half the comedy progs on so far.
I've seen pub teams with better organisation off the ball than Wolves. So much ball watching, no awareness of opposition runners and shocking lack of anticipation.
Another stonewall penalty gets the 'play on lads' signal as that corner from Graham comes in and Norwood runs in and pushes EEL so hard, he'll have whiplash.
Replay shows it so clearly!
5 minutes to go and if I'm not mistaken, that was certainly MacDonald's first mention if it wasn't his 1st touch...
