That's a shame. I think they have concerns about his defensive ability hence why they've pushed him further forward.

As Louie says he's already behind at least four players + probably Foley, we might even go and buy another right back in the summer if we get promoted, if it isn't going to happen, it isn't going to happen.

In other news, tonight's game called off. It's only just struck me that Davis wasn't included, is he injured? Surely needs gametime if not. Half an hour vs Preston and a token two minutes at Tranmere is the extent of his first team involvement since Christmas.

I think he'll go out on loan and probably go at the end of the season. Kenny doesn't like his attitude.

No great loss I don't think as we don't seem to need that type of player anymore. It's more about keeping possession and working the angles and finding gaps as opposed to a midfield governor breaking up play and solely concentrating defensive duties.

He's just too lax in possession for my liking, he has some good aspects to his game but if we're favouring a system based around ball retention then he's not that valuable.
