As soon as somebody is charged they can no longer be questioned. It seems pretty obvious they have interviewed suspects, gathered evidence and will use that to re-interview them. The fact that nobody has been charged does not mean the police have no idea what happened, just they are taking their time and getting it right so when charges are laid they have the best chance of being successful.
