There goes Julen!

Tried to get a guy for 6 years and pissed him off in 6 months.

Jeff Shi and Fosun fuck off you fucking cunts and sell up.
This is the crux of it for me. Absolutely ridiculous state of running things if this now what reputation the football club has with dealing with people. They're never going to get anyone decent again, only yes-men.

Sooner Fosun/Shi are out the better.

Why couldn't it be the Scott rumour and not the Lop rumour that came true? FFS ITKers

Hard to describe my own disappointment if Lopetegui goes. We've been chasing this manager since 2016, hired (in my view) one of Europe's top-level coaches and then lost him by misleading him over the backing available. Really strange decision to pursue someone and convince him of a project if this wasn't to be the reality. What kind of business behaves like that? It's not like things have changed dramatically since he took charge, Fosun decided to spend in January upon initially hiring him after seeing how poor we were under Lage/Davis.

Could have easily gone down last season, Lopetegui turned a pretty hopeless situation into one in which we ultimately survived relatively comfortably. Away form has been poor but we still look a decent team overall and the home results were good. Maybe I'm a bit naive but I felt quite hopeful about us pushing for top ten this year and having an outside chance of Europe if Lopetegui could get a couple signings in. Considering prices are going up and up, it's hard to motivate myself to regularly come down to Wolverhampton to watch Gary O'Neil's Wolves struggle in a relegation battle.

For me personally this would be worse than getting rid of Nuno and replacing him with Lage. Either way it's one of the biggest errors Fosun have made. Incredibly disappointing.

I dunno, it ain't over yet. We'll see if he does go. I don't think he will based on that he would have to be really pissed to walk at this time. I mean really pissed. Like Wild Bunch finale pissed

I also saw and heard about this rumour on Saturday morning from two different sources. Someone posted on Mol Mix that Shi and Lop had fallen out completely, we'd given him a deadline of Monday (today) to walk or stay, and that we'd lined up a young English manager who was happy with the financial constraints.

I was convinced enough (not by the MM post btw) to stick a bit of money on him leaving.

I'm the mopey one here? Take a look around.
And I thought I could be condescending.

Surely you must see that emotions are running high? The little prods aren't exactly making folks feel better.
