The Transfer Thread 2019/20 - everything not Wolves

ok can't find the start a new thread bit on here, so i jumped in here, and my question is....what the fff do you do about Neymar? will anyone buy him? for sure PSG would love to get rid, but at what cost? where could he possibly go on his wages and with him being such a spoilt brat!

He's going back to Barca

Rodriguez from West Brom to Burnley - they are trying really hard to build a tony Pulis team aren’t they?

Dyche-ball is going to be really sexy to watch next season.

As an aside that is the players responsible for 60 of West Brom's goals (Gayle, Rodriguez, Barnes) no longer on the books. Such a sad, sad shame for them.

Looks like Konsa is going to Villa.

Villa now signing someone called Douglas Luiz from Man City for £15M.

Also signing a centre half from Reims called Engels - strongest part of his game is his Marxing.

Hause would have been closer to our first team than he will theirs. I make him 5th choice ch in a team that plays two

Luiz will have to be one of their highest earners to get a work permit. No chance otherwise.

Hause should have gone into the Championship, daft move for his career.

West Ham in talks with Seb Haller - 40m fee.

Villa spending will rocket past £100mill, there CH and CM looks very solid. The rest we'll wait and see, not sure they've fallen into the Fulham trap yet but its a hell of a lot of work to integrate that amount of players.
Does seem like they're stock piling certain positions ie CH and CM when leaving other areas bit lite.

I think one of Fulham's issues was buying a new side whilst the old one was still there. A lot of Villa's are either firming up loans, replacements for loans or released players. I'm not saying they are going to be any good as I don't know a lot of them, but once they've brought Heaton as keeper they've done a decent job in filling a lot of their holes.

are in 'advanced negotiations' to sign Belgian defender Björn Engels from Stade de Reims, reports in France are claiming.

This is going one of two ways!

Atleti not at all happy about it. Going to begin legal proceedings as they argue he was tapped up while the release clause was 80m higher.

Barça doing shady transfer business? Shock horror.

The more I think about it the less convinced I am that Luiz is going to get a work permit.

What I've read is that City and Villa think the fee should mean they can justify the permit. And if he gets the permit and does well, City have a buyback clause so that they can have him back.
