Albion potentially robbed of a winner at the end too. A very eventful 90 minutes.

Given as offside because Bartley still interfering with play even if he’s over the line. Not the absolute outrage that WM we’re just spouting.

Besides the fact that its Albion, I'm pleased Forest got that bit of luck at the end and equalised as they were victims of some dreadful decisions

Agree

It was the right call don’t get the we were robbed attitude, Bartley is offside it’s played directly at him whilst he’s blocking a Forrest player on the line to. Just about the only decision the officials got right all day.

VAR goes in Liverpools favour. #shocked. Took about 3 seconds.
If that's us, it's two minutes and goal ruled out.

Or it was probably due to the fact there wasn't remotely any foul there.

Yeah, no infringement at all. Defender trying it on, he judged the flight appallingly and got caught out.

I agree, notwithstanding the slight slap on the back of the head and the nudge, no. But it's VAR. What's a foul got to do with it?
I was pointing out that it seems to be inconsistent or fixed, depending how you look at it.

All this “it’s fixed” bollocks just makes people look stupid and weakens the argument against VAR.

People on twitter saying the game is corrupt because our goal was given offside. No it was given offside because of the shit rule which has been in place for every team the entire season. Take the tin hats off

Aye. Same as how criticism of Moxey/Morgan used to get muddied with bollocks about them literally stealing from the club or deliberately running us into the ground or only buying us so the owner could have a smallish patch of land to build on in Wolverhampton*.

Pick your battles.

I will say that it's incomprehensible how handball goals have been missed (once you've made the decision to go that way, you can't really miss them, and it's more than one - and the explanation of "oh we missed it" is just laughable) and that Everton one against us will forever remain a mystery (could be offside, I don't know, but I do know they didn't check properly). But I know how incompetent these people are when doing their day job, why should they be any better doing it via a laptop? They're crap so they make crap decisions.

*Best one I ever heard of these was from some absolute tit in my old local who said on "good authority" that Jez had told Hoddle to miss the playoffs on purpose so we didn't have to pay bonuses to the squad. Stupid Elmer Fudd wanker.

Villa in front, Alderweireld own goal.

Grealish is a twat, flapping his arms all over the place when he doesn't get a decision immediately. Get on with the game you scrote.

Mainly on Lloris for me on the goal, it's two yards out.

Spurs midfield 3 Winks and Dier behind Alli very average to say the least. Aurier is a bomb scare to.

Douglas Luiz with the old Dave Edwards trick of falling on your arse for no reason when having a shot. Should be 2-0.

Spurs are an absolute shambles at the back. Game could easily be 2 each, both all over the place.

Villa could easily have been 3 up by now
