Alex Crook saying that he has just been told by Wolves that there is an 'agreement in principle' between Strasbourg and us for Bellegarde

That as maybe, but we look like a total shambles to anyone outside the club (and to us as fans) given what's happened over the last couple of months.

Plus there is no way we'd pay the sort of wages Ocampos would want.

We are fishing in the Tommy Doyle, Che Adams and Brownhill ponds now.
Oh we are run by complete shysters I agree. The same could be said of Fulham though, I think they're at the same level we are but have worse players and a better manager.

The point being Ocampos isn't out of our league at all.

It's all done bar him signing the contract but Flum won't approve unless they have a replacement sorted.
Let's see how that works out as I can't imagine the player being particularly happy if they don't ok the move.

He shouldn't be, me and you don't think he is.

But the way we're being run at the moment, I doubt we'd have given him a second thought.

Bellegarde seems like a decent Nunes replacement to me. If we manage to get another striker over the line, I'm fairly comfortable with our business over the last few days (with the proviso that we've been left scrambling after a summer of ludicrous mismanagement).

All aboard the JRB train!!

Looking forward to seeing him, assuming we can close the deal in time.

Along with Doyle we'll have two good free-kick takers with Bellegarde.

Shipping Nunes out for €62m and getting Doyle and Bellegarde for €20m looks like superb business on the face of it.

If Hobbs can pull a half decent striker out of his arse before the deadline then Jeff needs to hand his cup and saucer to him for a new pic.

Enso - €12m (according to BBC)
Bueno - €10m
Doyle - Loan
Bellegarde - €15m

So €37m ish. Meaning we've got around €25m left for a striker out of the Nunes funds. Surely we can add more to that too if the right player becomes available.

Not too fussed about Nunes going tbh, looks like we have got some bodies in..so will be exciting..keep the bench warm at city Nunes

But what about FFP??
