Didn't someone say he'd already be shown round Compton?

So what’s the number for Scott at which point we decide Brizzle are fleecing us?

Just curious, genuinely.
I think if they stick to their £25m valuation we'll probably look elsewhere.

They want £25m

So down to us to structure it in a way that add ons meet that.

Games played, England Caps etc. Nothing stupid like wins the CL.
Will probably have to include a 10%ish sell on

See our MGW deal. Wanted at least £40m
Final deal was £45m with add ons Inc. Never getting that £45m.
£25m plus around £10m with achievable add ons. He should get an England call up and maybe a cap which will mean that £40m is hit.

Looks like no-one is paying that though. Bristol City might think that's his value but it doesn't look like they're right.
Maybe your right but if they wait, Bournemouth or West Ham might stump up what they want later in the window, and we'll have moved on by then.

I saw it on Vile Talk. Someone posted it who knows somebody high up in recruitment at Molineux. Not sure if it was in the January window when he was shown round or more recently.

Is Scott as good as MGW? You’d hope so or why are we so keen on him? If we think he is surely we’ll go up to £25m if Bristol play hardball. I suspect £20m will be acceptable to them if a lot of the fee is upfront as it would enable them to bring players they want in this summer. Finances aren’t the same at Championship clubs and looking at the Championship last year most clubs could compete for the playoffs with two or three astute additions and they’ll want them now.

Bournemouth bid less than us.

I don't think West Ham want him.

1) Not the same kind of player

2) Scott seems to want to be a Wolves player, MGW did not (cannot blame him after Nuno messed around with him and Lage being the dickhead that he is)

Comparisons to Morgan should be banned.

Yes, he came on exceptionally at Forest toward the end of last season. No, he was never going to be that guy here.

Sometimes a player needs a different environment to thrive.

So this FFP crap that everyone’s obsessed with, I’m just trying to work it out. We’ve made the best part of 80-85m this window so far, right? Plus Costa, Adama and Moutinho off the wage bill.

Is it because we’ve spent 55m or so to buy B Traore and Cunha in this window?

I know one part of that post people won’t believe!

There WAS a FFP issue looming a year or two down the line. Really doesn't help when you buy absolute shit like Guedes for stupid money.

We don't have one now.
