Bit of rain falling on and off. The summer months are the rainy season in Miami and it rains pretty much every day even if they are just brief showers. Should make it unpredictable during the race. I guess it dries almost instantly though.

Race is at 20:30 btw.

Why are Perez and Sainz just way off the other two? I know Perez had issues but it’s the same every other week.

Why could the two Haas not pass each other at front of the DRS train? You have the same car and one of you has a massive drag advantage plus slipstream.

Makes no sense that despite the reg changes there still isn’t much action

Re Perez, you have to keep in mind that Max is a generational talent (many members of the F1 community, from Lauda to Chandhok have said this) who RB have geared the team around for a long while.

Perez is a good driver but he tends to finish 5-15 secs behind Max which is fairly reflective I think. Leclerc and Sainz are similar but closer ability wise (again, I think that fairly levels out to an appropriate distance over the race)

Looks like Merc have found something. Best performing cars on the straights and absolutely no porpoising at all.

A genuine fucking disgrace at Barcelona today. 35 degrees and it took 90 minutes to get a drink at the track.

People collapsing in the queue for the train back afterwards as a service every 25 minutes is apparently OK to transport 120k people back to the city. We walked 6km to find another station and we're still not on a train when we left the track three hours ago. Never again.

That is dire. When I did Silverstone last when Vettel won in a Ferrari after Hamilton drove from the back of the field to second it was about 33 or 34 degrees. Proper scorchio and I was in the stands at the end of the Hangar straight. Could get a round of drinks and back to my seat in about fifteen minutes.

As a group, I don't think we're even going to bother tomorrow. We left the track at 6.15 and ended up back in central Barcelona at 10.30. Other people spent five hours queueing in Montmelo.

Genuinely cannot believe that nobody died out there today.

A proper shame as it looked like you had a great spot on the inside of turn four judging by the Aramco bridge in the shot I saw posted. Very exposed to the sun though.
