All depends on the player. If he really does want to leave, he is just showing his character and being a top pro by putting everything in whilst he is still employed by the club. No heads gone or being a stroppy fuck. May have been told we would like you to stay but if you want to leave the buying club has to pay £insertwhateverfeehere and until then you carry on as normal.

If the reports are true we have actually spoke to him, then for that to happen Arsenal had to give permission. If they hadn't and the reports were true they would be kicking off about tapping up (even though most clubs do it).
