First up, I've been really ill all week so that's a perfect tonic!

Not very good first half, so much slack play and Raul/Cutrone doesn't work as a partnership at the moment. But we were really good after HT. Kept the ball much better, always looked threatening, they couldn't get near Adama, the wingbacks were much better and other than one save by Rui they never threatened to get back into it.

Big shout out to Kilman who didn't let us down at all.

Thanks to their keeper for being a clown (watch him blame someone else as well).

The wonderful world of 'felt the contact'. It's a penalty in today's game. I think it's bollocks, but I freely admit to being a luddite dinosaur

The old one of "don't give the ref a decision to make" (don't think he was very good at all, their #10 should 100% have been sent off just for a start).

Raul was never going to score there, just leave him alone and it goes out for a goal kick.

Tale of two halves. Kilman looks way ahead of Jesus even if he does remind me of 80s icon rock me Amadeus singer Falco!

Traore made their defence look mince and he and Doc were on the same page. Never in a month of Sundays is Raul /Cutrone a pairing. MGW flatters to decieve.. Coady isn't great one on one.

That said , once again we win away.

but Rui is. Tremedous save in the 2nd half

On their goal. It looks shit for a keeper to concede but having been in that position, I know what it is like when you set yourself to go one way and the ball goes the other. It is nigh on impossible to change direction in a split second and you just stop and look like a right plum in the process

The goal is more on Coady for me, he should be blocking off any shot into the near post. If the striker (who looked good btw, albeit pretty much their only threat going forward) wants to try and bend it around Conor and into the far corner then on you go.

Agree on all points but the majority will look at the keeper there but its not as simple as it looks.

Coady and one on ones is not new news so the question is what are we doing/not doing this year which is leaving him exposed? Only really Fulham away x2 we've done it previously.

Today was us losing the ball deep in an attack which meant we had Mout and Saiss badly out of position and they quickly took advantage of that, normally we get a block in or cut an option out to allow players to get back but they moved in 2 or 3 passes and gave us no chance to do so. The one on one came from a similar pattern of play as well.

Not a huge fan of Hargreaves on comms (he's an ok pundit but not really very good in game) but he correctly picked up on us looking disjointed and having massive gaps all over the pitch. One pass should not be putting us in that kind of position.

Comedy moment of the game (other than their keeper doing his best Lonners impression) - Boly absolutely thundering the ball at De Marco from one yard away.

Raul Cutrone doesn't work. Kilman was more than adequate. Would rather have had Ivan than MGW, let alone Adama. Penalty was soft but there was contact, very well taken. Jota's first yellow was bullshit, the second was harsh. Coady is a bit of a worry. Rui had no chance, great stop when needed.

Think his head landed outside the Stadium.

MGW hasn't looked at it for a while now.

He's clearly good enough but needs a run of games. If we can spare him I think he should go out on loan. He's not contributing to the first XI

The club said CATEGORICALLY at the parliament that Morgan isn’t going out on loan.

MGW is getting enough football at Wolves. The question is whether he's up to it in any formation we play. His finishing has to improve to be a viable option. He has it in him, see Newcastle in China, but he has to learn to relax in a proper game

Whatever were doing with him now isn't working

The club seem to think differently. I can see your point, but I can also see theirs in that keeping him with the coaches here and working might be more beneficial for him. I certainly don't see any benefit in sending him to a poor choice of club. They MUST play in our system for a start.
