It still pisses me off that they have lower prices for the ends of the BW but not the SB anymore. Never got that.

Surely they can’t put them up? Surely…

I get that otherwise people will be paying different rates, but putting them up would mean mine has jumped from £450 to £622 in two seasons*. Near 40% increase is pretty big (massive) jump.

*two seasons we’ve actually been able to attend

Tbf I'm for some reason ruling out the possibility that they lumped the prices up for people who were on the waiting list without considering what they were going to do the year after. Vinny is probably mocking out the North Bank with dairylea lunchables as we speak, ham at one price, biscuits at another, dribbling over it and thinking it looks fine

Standard adult tickets in the Holte are £677, but £533 in the North Stand, which is bizarre. We are going to get hammered by Vinny

When he was prattling on last year I expected then he'd say the North Bank was newer or something to justify it (whilst simultaneously charging even more for the Steve Bull)

A £100 increase per season ticket holder gets you 10 weeks of Coutinho at £300k per week.
or
26000 season ticket holder’s at £600 each pays his wages for a season.
The game is fecked as far as supporter contributions go. They’ll be an adjustment when the next sky deal is done and hopefully player contracts will be lower. The cost of living means I’m not renewing sky sports or bt sport next season and I guess that will be the case for many.

This is from AFC Wimbledon. If Vinny increases our ST's by 5% he'll be taking notes20220505_115144.png

Those new bolts that hold the roof on don't come cheap you know.

When I voted on here I went with "current ST holder and will renew" - am starting to reconsider now. Nothing much to do with the cost, although a price hike won't help. More that will I miss it. Couldn't attend on Saturday, wasn't overly fussed pre match, and even less bothered after the game. Am starting to think I could do better things with my time than watch poor football

Same sadly. That said I really enjoyed the Villa game - pre-match too. But the thought of dropping so much money on god awful football and miserable results...

I'll still renew. I don't think I am going to watch on Saturday though, cant be arsed at the moment. Doesn't seem to be much to look forward to about the club.

Mates stopping going, stupid prices, I don't sit directly by anyone I know so location of seat isn't an issue, work is a bit shit so I don't have huge amounts of disposable income, awful football, no faith in us improving the squad, I think the manager is a bit of a prick, Vinny Clark definitely is a prick, if I want a ticket for an individual game then shock horror, I can get one.

I think I'm done.

Do you think a membership (them increasing the price has really pissed me off) is still worth it. I haven't really followed how many times it's gone to general sale if at all

Watford and Brighton games definitely went general sale, I'd imagine Norwich will too

I think 3-4 have this season. They pretty much never did in 2018/19 or 2019/20.

It'll be more next season as we're shit.

I'll probably renew it to be safe. And who wouldn't want a collapsible travel mug?

Mind you, I think I've only done the Spurs and Everton home games this season

Safe for what though, I can't imagine voluntarily paying to watch us match by match at the moment. If I hadn't paid up front then I'd barely have gone to a game all season. It's honestly dreadful. I'm not exaggerating for effect at all, we are appalling to watch.

I think they have a very rude awakening coming. At the minute they have to sell around 5-6k individual tickets for each home game, if that number suddenly doubles and you're asking £50 a pop to watch what we serve up...well. Let's see about that.

There's no novelty value now for anyone watching Wolves vs Manchester United. We've all seen it loads of times. The difference is now we'll probably lose, whereas 2-3 years ago we'd have given them a proper game.

Yeah true and that’s a good point about ticket prices themselves. For me to then get there is another thing as train prices are ridiculous and even petrol is gonna cost me a lot if I drive. I’ve got ways of going to all of the London games these days even if it’s in the home end so I know I’ll generally do those ones

I've said it before and I'll say it again, once people find something else to do with their time, they don't really come back.

Everything we've done since Covid stopped football is pretty much an object lesson in how not to run a club. To the point of I don't think I ever even got my Olympiacos money back, a ticket for an event I literally couldn't go to. Nice one.

Shi is completely unsuitable to run a football club, Sellars is an Academy director promoted way beyond his means, Clark is a bluffer who'd do well to last three months as a recruitment agent, Wild is a nobody, Lage is ludicrously out of his depth and no-one, no-one above all this is keeping any of them in check.

We're 8th though. Yay.
