REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Plaid have already passed a motion in the Assembly today saying that Wales will not accept No Deal.

Got to be the funniest yet.

Survive, FFS.

Absolutely.

Interesting that there is a letter to Jez from the leaders of the other opposition parties imploring him to embrace a second referendum. If he did that and forced a motion on it, it would only need Conservatives like Clarke and Soubry and a couple of others on board to force it through even if the DUP side with the government. Surely he HAS to consider it.

Probably need a bit of a buffer on the Tory side, headbangers like Hoey, Stringer etc would go against the whip.

Step Son just said to me "we survived two World Wars with Foreign aid and foreign soldiers/sailors/air men, didn't we including fighters from all over Europe"...

The BBC so resigned to May having nothing of any value to say that they're refusing to move Derby vs Southampton for her.

You didn't miss much. Getting on with the job of delivering brexit that the British people voted for and the leader of the opposition refused to meet me but the door is still open.

Who would have thought that?

I saw Nathan Redmond pull a Joe Mason impression on a one on one, I imagine the odds were roughly similar on both outcomes.

To be fair to Redmond he had already scored from a one on one earlier. Interesting to see May asking other MP's to put aside their own self interests, if she'd done the same she'd have resigned months ago.

I don't get this.

She got completely wrecked last night and your MPs didn't vote her down. No one wants to take the lead, is that it?

Sorry my friend but I do not have a spare four years to explain all this to you.

The people who voted her down last night from her Party were NEVER going to vote against her tonight as it would lead to a General Election and the chance of some of them losing their cushy jobs

Liam Fox on News night - Little room to change the plan, the opposition need to change their own demands. This current deal with a change to the backstop is his preference else he's quite happy going for no deal.

"The opposition", would that include 118 current Conservative MPs?

There is no change on offer from the EU unless we change our red lines.

They are going to push it for no deal aren't they. The vacuous harridan is going to seriously consider siding with Rees-Cunt to keep in power. She makes King Cnut look understanding while he whipped the fucking tide.
