I suspect he's getting his defence in first; when the negotiations inevitable collapse with Britain getting a shit deal he wont want to blamed. Probably wont work though.

So...heres a twitter thread. Its terrifying.

Essentially we'll see huge barriers to trade - not just financial, but physical - goods backed up at Dover because we cant easily prove they meet EU standards, and more paperwork needed. SO goods get more expensive at a time when the economy is contracting.

How long before we realise the whole thing is a suicide mission and call it off?

We already know it's a suicide mission. Can't call it off now though know because sovereignty, taking back control and will of the people.

He’s not saying anything new - every sensible person has been saying this since before the referendum. Those not involved in cross border trade on a daily basis have literally no idea how difficult it is for countries on which trade is not governed by an FTA or other direct agreement.

No one listens, and when it all goes to pot they will refuse to take any of the blame.

It's pissing me right off. Utter morons in charge on both sides. It was always a terrible idea and it proves that politicians just can't be trusted to get anything done, they're all just incapable.

Project Fear innit.

Turns out that just saying "It'll all work out in the end" isn't really enough.

I see Boris has dredged up to £350m a week to the NHS bollocks again.

Fucking unbelievable

It's really not that difficult.

As I said it depends on what you are selling and where to. Have a read of the twitter Thread linked at the start of this part - if the UK / Europe has reciprocal agreements with the counties it is easier, they do with all those linked.

I remember trying to sell under WTO rules to Brazil and Colombia, was a fucking nightmare, with 70% tariffs a times and complete rejection and return at others.
