He’s not saying anything new - every sensible person has been saying this since before the referendum. Those not involved in cross border trade on a daily basis have literally no idea how difficult it is for countries on which trade is not governed by an FTA or other direct agreement.

Cameron called this referendum (imo) to give his party closure on the eu question.
It backfired.
They're now pulling themselves apart over the matter.
If only we had an effective opposition...
