REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

You have no idea whether I accept the result or not - you make those claims based on your own interpretations of what I post. Those interpretations are based on your own assumptions, not mine. It was clearly in the Tory party manifesto of 2015, a simple question leave/remain. The Tory party got to power and kept the promise. All parties voted to accept the referendum. Leave won it and parliament has accepted the vote by a massive majority.

Are you seriously suggesting you want it to go to an election, before we are able to leave. Next you will been telling me the EU commisioners should have a vote on accepting our vote.

No, the referendum was in the manifesto - they, the Conservative Party and as a government campaigned to remain.

I haven't suggested I want it to go to an election, that is you making things up at (the one thing you are extremely adept at). I pointed out that there is only one democratic process that supports leaving the EU, it was advisory and wasn't overwhelming.

Yes Paddy, but once he is a commisioner he has no allegiance to the UK, but to the EU.

When someone elected by the current government gets given the job as health minister (lets call him Hunt the Cunt) he has no allegiance to the UK. He has allegiance to the Conservative Party.

We are going round in circles, Paddy.
 
There was another public referendum in 2016.
The public voted overwhelmingly in favour.
The outcome of the referendum was over-ruled (by the government no less!).
The will of the people was ignored. This was therefore undemocratic.

Should we, therefore, riot?
