prediction league 2021-22

It's the annual recruitment call for the prediction league. As we've had some new posters sign up/join etc (& some old ones with new names! ) thought it'd be useful to try to encourage some participation.

The prediction league is in its own sub-forum, and in addition Quirk posts the Goals on saturday fixtures there, due to start next week:

Format is simple. I'll post up the fixtures for each week in advance. Posters predict the final scoreline, and first goalscorer. Your are awarded 3 points if your scoreline is correct, or one point if the result is correct but not the score. 3 additional points are awarded if you correctly predict the first scorer in the game.

Sniffer will usually correct my mistakes, and do the harder job of updating the table (we hope!) We will then pettily point out occasions where we're owed one extra point throughout the season.

Freddeno and Donegal will likely repeatedly post whilst simultaneously cursing about missing the early fixtures of the weekend.

Prize is the most important and valuable commodity in the world! Bragging rights on the internet.

Hoping we can encourage many of you to join us

yep, you know me..but I will try to predict every game this season

Thanks LJ, as stated above Goals on Saturday starts this weekend, you can find it in the Prediction league forum. I have sent PMs to old players hopefully they can join again, but more importantly would love a few new players that fancy a crack on Sniffers Hall of Fame.
