Not card fees.So why are football clubs/ticketmaster etc allowed to continue with them?
Admin fee - Covers a whole host of things but non of them will be the actual payment processing. A lot of football clubs use a 3rd party for tickets. Standard is just use of their software, support etc etc and they charge a % or flat fee per transaction done on their platform and it can go right through to a company doing everything for them (the staff, customer service etc) like some places do with Ticketmaster.
So we have to pay that fee. No idea if something restricts them from hiding that fee and they have to be transparent on that front but no one would care if the admin fee was hidden.
The fee the club pay for processing payments is hidden in the ticket price. If Wolves use, say Barclaycard, to process payments it will cost them around 1%-3% of the fee (maybe less considering how much they would process in a normal year). Wolves have also included a PayPal option and they will charge a lot more (set fee, normally 20p plus arund 10-13% of the total amount processed. Wolves have countered that by saying, pay by PayPal you don't get your 10% in Wolves Cash (same with Amazon Pay as well I think)
