Next Manager chat.

Silva, big Sam and Pearson bookies favourites I wouldn't be unhappy with one of those.

Can't see big Sam just yet and it'll piss a few of around here if he does not me personally but can understand why some would be very dubious.

Not Giggs, and not Willy Sagnol either. A MANAGER WHO HAS WON SOMETHING

It's a fairly depressing list tbf.

I am surprised so many wouldn't want Sam he could take us to upper half of the Prem quite comfortably IMO.

Is it too simplistic to assume that it will definitely be somebody with association to Mendes, or might Fosun just be getting a little wary of relying on using his Clients?

If true, he's unlikely to prefer us to Inter, I'd have thought.

There could be one big deciding factor.

Silva is the 6/4 favourite now. 3/1 BFS and Willy S

I've spent 15+ years thinking the man is a crass braggart, so I'm never going to be particularly well disposed towards him.

By an overwhelming measure his career highpoints were at Bolton, he left them nine and a half years ago. Everything he's done since has been perfectly functional and within the remits of the job description but it's rarely fun to watch and you have to put up with the man himself along the way.

I can't see him being effective with the players we have and he'd want way more control of recruitment than we're going to give any Head Coach.

There were quite a few big names bandied about when KJ left, then the owners pulled Zenga from somewhere so I won't get carried away just yet.

I think Allardyce would get us up TBF, but more than understand why people would be against his appointment. Personally, I wouldn't be particularly angry with that as there would be pros and cons to his appointment. But doubt that he'll be in the running.

I would be very surprised if we don't go down the continental route again though. Silva would make much more sense.

Do you think we could get a poll up of the candidates before Fosun announce the next bloke!!

Paulo Sousa would have been available this week but for an unexpected victory at the weekend by Fiorentina.

Wouldn't we be limited to who would be willing to take the job based on how players are recruited, a lot of managers would want a full say on who comes in.

On the wolves Facebook page it's all get big Sam,available and a local lad are most of the comments,I'm available and a local lad,and I'd be as bad at it as Sam would be,and the fact he's damaged goods now
