Donk has been fantastic this season - I don't think its a coincidence we have won every game he has started in CM and lost everyone he hasn't.

Long term I'd like to see:

Donk - Neves
Vintinha
Podence/Neto Raul

Hopefully Silva can come into the reckoning too?

Think six months is a bit of a stretch, we'll have about half a dozen games left by then and Jonny will probably be back!

How long did it take Nuno to start regularly using Dendoncker, Traore, Podence, Neto?

He has had about one training session with the first team because of international duty.

Yet people want to rush him into the team

He looks to be both good enough and mature enough but he is going to need to learn the system for sure. I think he will be on the bench for Newcastle but he will be a starter pretty damn quickly.

Was closer to 5/6 months for Donk from what I remember, Traore was pretty much his first full season before he became a regular starter, Neto got plenty of game time in the Europa but has only really been a league first team player since post lockdown. Without that break it would have likely just been the start of the season. Same goes for Podence.

Care to wager Ait Nouri doesn't start more than 3 league games in a row prior to the end of March?

Nah, Donck was in from Christmas. First start was Spurs away (he came on vs Chelsea at home before that) and he rarely dropped out at all after that. We didn't sign him until mid-August and he wasn't fit for a couple of weeks after that.

Starters or not, Adama and Neto both got gametime, that wasn't the question.

Yeah you're right re Donk was Xmas, Xmas not far off 6 months really is it in grand scheme not like him playing after a week like people suggesting this Ait Nouri does.

Poor initial turn of phrase from me '6 months' should have read 'half a season' if people are to take it so mathematically.
