It must be a mistake, I was being told all summer that we don't get injuries and weren't just lucky?

Not sure why you'd care, thought Wolves were just a "cousin you don't see any more".

Maybe we'll go shit again and you won't bother.

A huge blow; we're built on being solid and not conceding first and foremost, so losing our best defender is only going to hinder that. No point dwelling on it though, need Nuno to find solutions within the squad, and his record at finding solutions is pretty good.

This part is bullshit tbh... The medical/training regime HAS stopped us getting a load of injuries. Everything that has been put in place has drastically reduced the number of muscle and associated injuries so they HAVE done their job... Only god can stop broken legs/ankles

And he's busy being an ambassador for the club and all...

Yes of course its improved, but not to the point where going an entire season without anything more than knock wasn't really fucking lucky. Injuries are part and parcel of game, and we've barely got enough players when ever fuckers fit, nevermind if we actually get an injury.

As a complete guess he’s rolled out it coming down from a header (or a filthy MGW tackle).

Hopefully a straightforward one, 6 weeks in a cast/boot and If this allows him movement in his knee then he should be able to minimise atrophy as he can still exercise. Then it will just be rehabbing the lower leg.

This is terrible news, our best defender by far out for possibly two months maybe more... fuck fuck fuck

Newcastle are proper dog shit, but I get the feeling that they'll show us up today. We're shit against shit, so here's to a 0-1.

I know a thread you might like ............. :nod::icon_biggrin:

Man for man we are still much better than them, our coach is miles better, that doesn't guarantee a result of course. Barring any silly individual errors, I'll be amazed if we don't get something from this match

Here is my positive thought. Newcastle like to play on the counter. The Boly news particularly if Kilman comes in may make them adjust their game plan to be more attacking which suits us on the counter. Obviously the negative to that is an untested kid playing lch and Saiss on the right. Plus we'll have to hear the word futsal a dozen times.

Your own words, pal.
I've said lots and lots of things, many more relevant to Boly's injury. Now if you could please follow the forum code of arguing the post and not the poster I'll happily chat, alternatively I'll get you a ladder to get the fuck over yourself xxx

Really?? Regardless of where we finished last season, I don't think we're 'much better' than anyone in this league really. It all looks pretty tight to me. On our day we can beat anyone anywhere, and we rarely have long barren spells points-wise, but we've been generally unspectacular in the 19/20 PL, and Newcastle have won as many games as we have

Newcastle have some decent players, i think saint maxim, almiron and joelinton will work out once they are used to each other (and possibly playing under a quality manager) and schar is quality, the longstaff brothers showing promise, etc... a lot of sub-par players too, and im not a fan of steve bruce, he should be in the championship with some lumpers. I am positive we will get a result, Im a lot less confident of the 3 points now though.
