Did somebody say a few days ago that we were after Mulgrew?
Did you see what the cunt did just then?
I haven't seen a foul like that in years!
Outstretched arm under the chin, then barged the lad off his feet with his hips with the ball that he never once looked at about 10 feet away!
Dirty, cynical fuck.

This really is like a non-league/lower Division team up against a Premier League team.
Passion is all well and good but Scotland just aren't in the same league as England

It was a nonsensical rumour because he used to play for us. Be surprised if there was anything in it at all.

4 away from equalling Bobby Charlton, won't take him too long at this rate. Be there by the end of this Qualifying Tournament

Just looked at the list - surprised that Gascoigne only scored 10 - seemed much more than that

No chance we'd be able to sign him anyway. Important player for Celtic (his boyhood club).

The first half was pretty evenly matched apart from Scotland not really having the threat up top, not really surprising with their best forward missing mind. The subs have ruined them though, they look awful now.

Scholes only got 14 which also seems low but then I remember he went about three years without a goal prior to Euro 2004.

Scotland instantly looking much better with Naismith moving back into a deeper position, surely Mulgrew has to be a better option for them at centre half than Hanley when they could use Morrison in midfield alongside Brown?

You would think so, Hanley is a dismal footballer.

The first goal was anything but fortunate. But apart from that, Scotland have barely offered any threat to the England goal.

Watch the header in slow motion, plenty of good fortune there, he mistimes it completely and the balls already come off his head before he motions to head it. It's a good ball to create the chance but it could've gone anywhere off the top of Chamberlain's head.
