Lettuce Liz then Tetchy Rish! and the battle to replace him

rwanda policy deemed unlawful by the courts.
Telling how wedded the tories are to it, by initially arguing they need to save money on the costs of asylum seekers, then it turns out this policy will cost over 60k more per individual, but they intended to press on. This the so-called party that is good with finances.

It's never been about finances or budgeting - it's all been about image, and trying to appeal to the millions of gammons in this poxy country. They desperately need the gammon vote and this is the depths they will stoop to appeal to them.

See also "stop the boats" - a very simple, 3 syllable slogan than even the most thick of racist fuckwits can learn and spell correctly.

I read an article the other day which posed that the government is intentionally prolonging the processing of asylum seekers. Whereby they can argue that it's costing £Xm to hold them in the UK during the (artificialy extended) process and so by sending them to Rwanda will save money.

That's very simplistic.

Water privatisation was done very badly but if you ask anyone who worked in a water utility pre and post privatisation they will tell you things are MUCH better now than they were. If we still had 40%+ leakage for example you would have been very unlikely to be able to turn the tap on last week and have water.
That's just cos it was run badly. Govts can.choose to run things well. They tend to deliberately underfund them so they can present privatisation as a credible option. Happening in the NHS now.

It wasn't that badly run it was under-invested in, that didn't just happen during the thatcher years. Its happening right now - there is a load of pressure on OfWat to not let water bills increase becuase there is an election next year. You can argue about dividends / exec pay etc but even taking that away (Thames have not paid a dividend for 6 years IIRC) then there is still not enough money to solve CSOs. If you want better services someone has to pay

Yep. Govt

That's an awful Photoshop surely :D

Kawczynski is a moron so having awful fake/amateurish stuff on his own feed would not surprise me.

Lefty lawyers preventing foreign criminals being deported?

Not according to a report on Home Office failings which has unsurprisingly been published today when all eyes are elsewhere.

Move on where? They will be stuck in Rwanda unless they escape and try and get to another country.

Suella Braverman, the home secretary, is making her statement to MPs about the court of appeal ruling on the Rwanda policy.

She says she visited Rwanda in March, and signed update to the memorandum of understanding with the country to bring it in line with the illegal migration bill.

Rwanda has the capacity to process thousands of asylum seekers, who will receive “excellent care” before they move on.

Surely now you just tie the fucking nonsense up in the appeals process for 18 months and an election kills the disgraceful Rwanda policy.

Sounds like a prelude to that scene in the outlaw Josey Wales.

"They were decently treated. They were decently fed and then they were decently shot."

Watching last night's Question Time and I almost felt sorry for the Tory drone they've got on defending the Rwanda deal. But then I remembered that she's cunt, working for a cunt with a bunch of other cunts, doing cunty things. Cunts.

Turns out you can do something about inflation if you actually take action rather than wanking on about 'holding our nerve'.
