Jeremy Corbyn

Why single out Israel?

Plenty of countries do objectionable things. Why pick the only Jewish one?

As leader of the opposition, JC was routinely invited to state dinners. He refused every invite except one.

So why did China, guilty of awful human rights violations, get that honour?

Another question.

If JC is so enamoured of the Palestinian people, why was he so unwilling to criticise Bashir al-Assad, who was responsible for murdering tens of thousands of them.

Was he not Jewish enough?

In news that will surprise no-one who was paying attention, Corbyns inner circle conspired with Dominic Cummings to try and push through Brexit:

Always been an arseole and hated the thought of a Labour government.

Conversely, if he's not antisemitic why does he spend so much time palling around with antisemites?

Example - Stephen Sizer - kicked out of the C of E because he claimed Jews were behind 9/11. Its a classic antisemitic conspiracy theory that should see him exile from polite society, and certainly should make him an anathema to any committed lifelong antiracist.

But no. Corbyn later wrote that he was victimised because he 'dared to speak out against Zionism'. JC fabricated an entirely different offence in order to excuse Sizers antisemitism.

Why do that?

What about Roger Waters - https://www.theguardian.com/music/2...d-of-repeated-antisemitism-in-new-documentary - these actions should be roundly condemned. Did the saintly Jeremy do so? Of course he didnt. In fact he and his wife were happy to have dinner with Waters.

Theres more. What about the multiple times he appeared on Press TV, the state broadcaster of a nation that supplies weapons to antisemitic terrorist organisations. The broadcaster that regularly hosts holocaust deniers.

Talking of Iran, he is also friends with Medea Benjamin, who has attended the New Horizon conference in Tehran, famous for its platforming of Holocaust denial.

All of this adds up to a perception that JC is, at best, comfortable in the company of antisemites. And at worst, shares their views - because theres no evidence of him ever challenging them.

I'd rather people joined the Greens tbh. A genuinely centre-left party.

There's no such thing as 'Corbynism" as the man himself has stated many times - he's just become a figurehead for anyone left of Gove who suddenly had a sniff of representation. I'd be very surprised if anything came of this.

Real mystery for me is why people like Burgon, McDonnell, Abbot etc still remain in the Labour party when it's clear they're absolutely done as a vehicle for progressive politics. Could just defect to the Greens. Same applies to trade unions.

If we could get a big group of them over the the Greens it would be transformative for this country. Unfortunately the cynic in me thinks there must be something that's keeping them at Labour that they'd lose if they left. There's no other reason for a left winger to associate with them

Because without a red rosette they'd have to find someone to actually employ them.

That 'something' is safe seats.
