I give you Phil Foden , Hudson Odoi and Jordan Sacho who were all mentioned in the same breath as mgw and have all kicked on. He hasn't.

So because he has not done as well as one of the best teenage footballers right now ('Jordan' Sancho) he is a failure? Come on.
So to clarify, we desperately need more players but we should also chuck away a very highly regarded Academy product still in his teens unless he steps up immediately, despite hardly ever starting any games in his entire career to date.

Also to be contrary but have Hudson-Odoi and Foden been that impressive? Hype about both of them is immense which plays a massive part in our perceptions. I am not denying their ability and potential, but to use those two as a stick to beat MGW with is ridiculous, they are hardly light years ahead. Foden especially has had all his gametime in a much stronger team and usually in much more low-pressure games/situations.

Hudson-Odoi has done nothing this season. Foden barely gets a kick at City. Sancho has been a regular at Dortmund for well over a season now. I've seen some shit said about MGW but calling him out for not performing like Jadon Sancho is something else
