I don’t think the stats/data actually do him huge favours in general anyway. Just poorly used in that article or cherry picked to suit what they’re saying.

He’s weird. He receives between the lines well, fairly decent at beating his man the first time (like you say loves a nutmeg) but such an appalling lack of quality/consistency in his crossing or final pass. He has potential for sure I think, but I’d be surprised if we pay £25m for him.

I know people say he’s a bottler and I can see that but he also does press/intercept well!

2 very different things. He does press I wouldn't argue with that, but that's not going to get you hurt. He makes 70/30 tackles into situations where we lose possession because he pulls out. Being a bottler isn't an accusation it's a fact

He has potential for sure I think, but I’d be surprised if we pay £25m for him.

I'd be horrified if we paid half that. He's just not suited to PL football, signing him would be like Delhi Daredevils signing a player who can't play spin bowling, he's just not suited to what is required of him and whilst some aspects of his game might improve the lack of heart won't.
