As a seasoned away fan with Forest, I've made a fair few trips to the West Midlands over the past few years. I always enjoy trips to Wolves and Aston Villa; both sets of fans are decent. I can't recall any positive experience I've had with West Brom fans! Very grateful to a couple of Wolves fans who guided me to the away end last night, I'd parked in a different place than usual, so had completely lost my bearings.
I thought you were excellent in the first half, and on another day could have scored 2 or 3. The timing of the second goal was perfect (for us), that seemed to knock the stuffing out of Wolves, as the second half seemed to drift by.
As for the MGW chanting, I'd agree with the majority of Wolves fans who have already commented that they thought it was inappropriate. It didn't seem as vocal as it has been in the past. It only seemed to spur him on anyway, so it doesn't even achieve anything.
You made the right decision to part ways with O'Neil, and I think you'll be fine this year; there's 3 worse teams than Wolves. Southampton are already gone and Leicester and Everton were woeful when we played them. Ipswich are the ones to worry about. I think you'll pull away
