I wonder if Nunes is on the same list as Guedes of players we are trying to move on? Best explanation I can come up with for the selection of Joe Price

Not sure what's wrong with Nunes, made a big difference when he came on Tuesday, Hodge was a bit meh I thought.

I'm all for sending underperforming players a bit of a message, but not sure now's the time, particularly when the alternative is Joe Hodge. Kid's just not ready to impact Premier League football

Harsh on the Shropshire Pirlo, this.

Any senior football. It's like asking a 10 year old to run a marathon.

This is the only chance he has to make that point before the results really do become “must win”. Assuming that he is trying to send a message.

I don't get it, he's nowhere near the level of MGW or Luke Cundle. He's not even at the level of Taylor Perry.
I mean, Connor Ronan is NOT a Premier League footballer. But he has recognisably impacted on games at senior level, for more than one club. I'd play him over Hodge 100 times out of 100 and it's not a difficult binary choice.

The questioning of our new manager has started sooner then I thought.

Davis and Lop must surely see something in him. And that's not me bigging him up as I did previously, was mainly that he seemed to getting a bit too much negativity. You'd surely think Nunes > Hodge!

Lop must have some reason for it and I’d rather be pointlessly optimistic for a few more weeks than go ahead and resign myself to miserable pessimism before we’ve kicked a ball in the Prem under him.

It's not miserable pessimism, I don't even think we'll lose today.

Just Joe Hodge is quite obviously not a proper option at this point, we have all seen him play.

Only possible thought is that he's hoping to suffocate them through possession, and Nunes is maybe a bit too ambitious with the ball at his feet for that tactical choice? Maybe, dunno just trying to look for the logic

I dunno man, sometimes it’s hard to grasp why anyone puts themselves through the ringer of negativity like some do.

It's a kick in the bollocks for Nunes, for sure. See how he reacts to it
