Not only that but we'd have lost both wars without the help of others. Americans and Russians in particular.
We would have lost WWII if a) Hitler wasn't a pillock in starting Operation Barbarossa, and b) Hirohito wasn't a prick in allowing Pearl Harbour to take place
WWI is a bit different. That was a pyrrhic hideous draw at best. But attrition meant they ran out of men. The arrival of American troops didn't really make a huge change.
