Coronavirus

Well, to be fair, if it's sneezing and sore throat, chances are it is not CoronaVirus as those are not usual symptons. Silver lining!

No, I know, but I'd still rather people weren't coughing and spluttering all over the office right now. Especially when it's perfectly easy from them to work at home.

3 now in Dorset, but all are 40 miles away - local supermarket shelves still denuded here of certain items!!

Just on Monday the percentage of positive tests that day was around 3%. Yesterday it was 5.8%. In today’s figure release there are 7.3% positive tests.

That’s not good.

That could be because people are getting better at recognizing when their symptoms warrant testing, or because there are fewer people returning from affected areas, or anything. I wouldn't read too much into it.

How many were tested today? 988 yesterday, 1000+ on a few of the days prior to the 10th, but today?

Cheers, where are the "how many were tested" figures?

The Worldometers site stopped giving that info a week or so ago for some reason.

Why would we do that? That needs to happen in about a week and a half a time

Incubation time is 14 days or so
They're aren't testing any 'community' caught infections
The number of infected people is increasing in line with what we've seen in other countries, we need to increase at a slower rate.
In about 2 weeks time was when Italy began to get overwhelmed
My thinking is we really need to keep a lid on how many people get infected in the next two weeks.
