Obviously every player with any re-sale value will be sold. Some okay (for the Championship) players I think we could hang onto as their reputations will be in tatters. If you think you've seen the last of Doherty & Hoever think again btw...

Who will we have left?

GK: Johnstone, Bentley

CB: S Bueno, Agbadou, Djiga, Lonwijk, Doherty (new 2 year contract)

RB: Tchatchoua, Hoever (new 3 year contract), Lima

LB: H.Bueno, Møller Wolfe

MF: Doyle, Munetsi, Bellegarde, Traoré

RW/LW: López (?), R.Gomes (?), Mané, Chirewa, González

ST: Tolu (?)

Sales: Sá, Mosquera, Toti, Krejci, André, J.Gomes, Arias, Hwang, Strand Larsen

Question marks next to the ones I'm not sure on.

Minimal investment obviously. I reckon... Lower mid table finish with that lot.

Lopez will go back to Spain on loan to try and give him game time and prove his value to be sold at a later date.

I swear to God if we give 34 year old Matt Doherty another fucking contract, I cannot be held responsible for my actions.

Krejci presumably wouldn't (well, won't) be signed permanently, he'll go back to Girona.

I reckon there would genuinely be a chance of us having back to back relegations again.
Without a doubt.

I backed us in 2004 and 2012 to do well because we retained players who were previously very good in the Championship for us. As it turned out they were gone, either physically and/or mentally, and we were as a result terrible.

I don't like any of the players who will still be here in August and I don't think they'll look good in the second tier, they are shit. They're not your Jason Koumas or Adam Armstrong types who are too good for one league but not good enough for another, they're bad footballers.

I can't lie, I did leave that one in there thinking of you 🤣

Try and come to terms with it now, it'll hurt less when it happens.

I didn't know if Krejci would have a deal triggered by appearances but either way when we go down he'll be off.

Can't see Tolu staying, more likely to be stuck with JSL on his monster contract

If we continue not to play him or he scores less than 4/5 between now and the end of the season (a tough ask for any striker to score that many with our lack of creativity) then we might struggle to find anyone willing to offer enough to shift him on at anything less than a massive loss.

That’s fair enough. Looks like he can finish though. Amidst the wreckage, that goal against Chelsea was neatly taken. I’d rather see him through on goal with the ball than JSL

He looks quite a good footballer but oddly a bit featherweight despite his size.

Anyway he should be playing more and I doubt he has any interest in playing in the Championship.

I look forward to seeing what the new man gets from Tolu, there's a pretty good striker there

A bad summer could easily see us struggle next season, I think we’ll be very mid table to bottom half.
See the 2015/16 season as to what the future holds, crap football, stadium 2/3 full, no chance of promotion but occasional looks over our shoulders.

Despite flirting with relegation for years we find out no players signed in the last 24 months have relegation clauses in their contracts.

I mean, nobody would be surprised.

I would rank this as the least enjoyable season (so far) since I started following Wolves. Even a relegation scrap in the championship would beat this shit show. We would occasionally win a game at least.

At this point I just want my club back, if its in the second tier where I followed Wolves for all of my childhood then I take it over this joyless soulless experience. We have just tried to rehire a guy we sacked less than 12 months ago for him to turn us down. It's beyond parody at this point.
