I'd argue all our none Raul forward options fit that descriptionI'm encouraged by Podence's recent appearances, but his absence isn't the end of the world, he's still inconsistent and ineffectual at times

It absolutely is, Podence was excellent for about 60 minutes against West Ham, when he's bad, he's terrible, goes missing and constantly gives the ball away.Podence’s “worst” isn’t as bad as Hwang or Trincao’s, though.

It’s at this point though last season when we hit a brick wall and only picked up 3 points from a possible 21.Comparisons so far to last season

We had played Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City by then to.
Yes, we'll never know, but of all the younger Portuguese players we've signed he could end up being the best of the lot and we didn't see anything of him (appreciate you we're at Villa)Was watching the Champions League goals the other day, Pedro Goncalves would be absolutely perfect for us in a 3-5-2. Shame, I suppose we'll never know 100% what happened there (did he want to go because he didn't want to play U23s any more or because he didn't like living in England, did Nuno just not fancy him, were we playing him in the wrong position, etc etc).
He didn't play in the League Cup game at Villa, he'd gone by then. I did see the legend that is Flavio Cristovao though!Yes, we'll never know, but of all the younger Portuguese players we've signed he could end up being the best of the lot and we didn't see anything of him (appreciate you we're at Villa)
